UV Cerco® lenses
Sodern’s UV lenses have been especially designed for use over 250 nm to 450 nm with intensified cameras allowing capture of both low intensity image and quick phenomena over large sensitive areas.
They operate with a large aperture and over a wide field of view to fulfil specific UV imaging needs:
· Combustion analysis;
· Detection of organic material for forensic purposes or surface contamination analysis;
· Detection of electric lightning;
· Vegetation multispectral analysis;
· Bioluminescent or fluorescent phenomena observation.
They truly are high-end products which can effectively cope with the most difficult UV imaging needs. Their unrivalled performances have led them to be the preferred choice of many Academic and Industrial Research Centers in Europe, in Asia and North America with a large heritage of over 400 units.
